For one day, the humungous 85,000 square foot Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will be converted into a modern playground complete with custom-built, ice covered ski/snowboard jumps and rails and a BMX Big Air Jump.
The Las Vegas Throwdown will be hosted by the legendary skater Dave Duncan and Kaime Stroot. Attending athletes include Ethan Swadburg, Robby Franco, Jason Kerr, Pat Kasey, Jeremy Malott, Kael Hill and Drayden Gardner to name a few.
Today’s premier DJs, bands, and musicians will also be performing in the festival. Mikey VIP, We Are Pancake, The Lique, DJ Trel, Glass Pools, School of Rock, DJ Supapham X Phantom, Splitbreed and many others are slated to entertain festivalgoers all throughout the day.
Craving for that adrenaline rush too? You and your friends can get in on the action by launching yourselves off of a 20-foot Zero Show Jump and landing straight into a stunt airbag. If that’s too crazy for you, you can try riding the adult Big Wheel sideways during the Monster Trike race.
The Las Vegas Throwdown: Action Sports + Music Festival will also have more than 40 vendor booths peddling different action sports gear, full-size alcohol bars, a craft beer tent and multiple food trucks offering delicious bites.
